Solaris in Transit imagines a body or planet held between states. The installation uses opacity and transparency as both physical qualities and metaphors for what can and cannot be known.
The work belongs to the MGDE research field and treats matter as a carrier of signs, memory and possible transformation. Its visual language shifts between object, model and speculative environment.
Rather than illustrating a finished theory, Solaris establishes an open condition in which the viewer encounters transition itself.
